4th & 5th Grades: Fridays, 3:00 PM – 4:50 PM

6th to 8th Grades: Fridays, 5:00 PM – 6:50 PM

💡 What's in Store?

Purpose: Our club aims to foster a love for reading, enhance comprehension skills, and encourage social interaction through thoughtful discussions. Each session will focus on a selected book through which students will explore themes & characters and share their unique perspectives with others.

Students will be asked to do weekly reading assignments, and, at times, writing assignments.

Students' writing material may be published on various online venues including the Art Muse website.

👤 Peter Han : Leading our Book Discussion Club
Peter Han, an NYS-certified teacher with a degree from Columbia University in Education, brings a wealth of experience to our new Book Discussion Club. With 12 years dedicated to teaching literature, crafting essays, and guiding students through their Common Application essays and college theses, Mr. Han is well-equipped to foster a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment for everyone.
His passion for instilling a deep love for reading and promoting critical engagement makes him an ideal leader for this club. Under his expert guidance, students will have the wonderful opportunity to dive into the world of literature, share their thoughts, and develop critical thinking skills in a fun and engaging environment.
