Glow in the Dark Umbrella Art Camp! - Monday, Sept.21!
Hello families,
Join us Next Monday, September 21st for a special one-day Art Camp at Art Muse!
This time, students will design and create their very own Glow-in-the-dark Umbrela!
Students will transform a clear umbrella into a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art using painting, illustration, and glow-in-the-dark details.
Starting with their own theme and design, each student will decorate the transparent umbrella with colorful imagery, patterns, characters, flowers, or imaginative motifs. Special fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark colors will add an exciting second dimension—the artwork transforms and comes alive under black light!
This project combines illustration, painting, design, and creative experimentation while giving students a unique artwork they can actually use and take home.
Students will explore:
• Designing artwork for a three-dimensional surface • Illustration, pattern, and composition • Painting on transparent materials • Color planning and layering • Fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark effects • Creating functional art with a personal theme
🧾 Camp Tuition:
🎒 For Kindergarten & up
Rate: $130 (Includes all materials)
Current Art Muse students: $120/day
🌟Hot Lunch Menu ($15 per day, optional)
- Hot lunch is available for an additional $15, or students can bring their own lunch.
🍎 Plus: Two snack breaks with free snacks provided, along with group games to keep campers energized and connected!

9:00 - 9:15 – Welcome & Icebreaker Activities 9:15 - 10:15 – Art Window 1 10:15 - 10:30 – Snack Break
10:30 - 11:30 – Art Window 2 11:30 - 12:30 – Lunch & Games 12:30 - 1:30 – Art Window 3 1:30 - 1:45 – Snack Break 1:45 - 2:30 – Art Window 4 2:30 - 2:40 – Clean-up
2:40 - 2:50 – Student pick-up
🪴 Artwork Pickup Guidelines
To ensure the best care of each child’s artwork, please note the following:
We kindly ask that all completed artworks be picked up on the day they are created.
If an artwork needs additional drying time, we are happy to store it at the studio for up to two weeks.
Please make sure to pick up stored artworks within this two-week period. After that time, unclaimed pieces will be respectfully discarded due to limited storage space.
